A bit more about us

Background:

 

Originally from west Kent, Chris spent 27 years organising accommodation for people with disabilities in the homes of host families in southern England. This concept is known in Britain as "Shared Lives".  Prior to that Chris worked on developmental programmes for disabled children in Ottawa, Canada.

 

 

Chris has an in-depth knowledge of Wiltshire's footpaths and country trails.   He'd love to take you on some great walks and give you a wonderful day out in Wiltshire's tranquil beauty.  

 

 

Favourite walking areas:

Pendle and Forest of Bowland, Lancashire

Brecon Beacons

French Pyrenees  (GR10 long distance trail from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean)

And, of course,

WILTSHIRE!

Producer/presenter of music programmes at CKCU-FM, Ottawa 

"Chris Lyne (UK)" instrumental music compositions.

Background:

 

Johanne is originally from Quebec, Canada.  Her extensive experience in child development  includes working at the Canadian House of Parliament day nursery and child protection work in southern England.  Johanne recently retired from her work as a a charity worker supporting "Young Carers" (children who look after their parents and siblings).
